I'M TAKING THE CHALLENGE TO FIGHT MS!
My name is Mollie Davis, currently, I'm 15 years old.
When I was 11, I swam my first MS 24-hour mega swim. I definitely found a way I could use my passion of swimming to support others.
this passion carried me through to the following Ms swim the following year.
The year before Covid struck I was very lucky to attend the first ''Go for Gold'' MS scholarship recipients lunch. thanks to all the fundraising events, the money that is raised helps to make the Scholarships possible.
The aim of the Scholarships is that people who have MS can apply for a chosen area of passion or what they love to do and be given support or anything that they need to help make it easier for them to do so.
What really moved me to tears was hearing people's stories and knowing that by fundraising and working together we can fight for a better outcome.
This year I really want to help people who suffer from MS a whole lot more especially because of covid and how much it would have impacted many lives and because doing something that helps other people's lives just inspires me so much to fundraise for this cause.
Coming back from Covid I understand that life isn't what it used to be and that I don't expect to raise as much money as other years but at the same time any donations given mean so much to this cause, i'm doing this swim to help make a difference for those in need and together we can work hard for a chance of helping beat MS
Thank you to everybody who is supporting both me and my team this year, I can't thank you enough
