2021 Wollongong MS Mega Swim

24-hour swim to help people with multiple sclerosis

Hi everyone

I'm taking part in a 24-hour swim, where we'll will be swimming non-stop in a relay from midday on Saturday to midday on Sunday. I'll be swimming for 2-3 hours.

Multiple sclerosis affects more young people than any other chronic neurological condition and average age of diagnosis is 30. It can strike anyone at any time and the symptoms vary so widely.

The funds we raise will allow people living with multiple sclerosis to access vital MS Support Services. Services such as MS Peer Support, connecting people who are newly diagnosed with those who have lived with multiple sclerosis for a number of years, or the MS Employment Support program keeping Aussies living with multiple sclerosis in the work force.

Any donation, whether big or small, is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your support!

I can’t believe you’re going to swim for 2+ hours in a row!! Bring a massive jug of Gatorade! Cristina says, “can you go realllly reallly slowly...as in, float?” :)

Nice work Patch! Make sure you have a couple of strong macs before you get in there, don't want you falling asleep on the late shift. Reckon you could do 5km+ in that time :)
